Do I need to provide VGM for my shipments?

Yes, the weight of your cargo is important to ensure that it is properly handled. By not providing the correct weight of your cargo, it can become hazardous to a carrier’s personnel, assets and your cargo.

Providing the weight also ensures that you get the correct corresponding transportation on each end of its journey – so you don’t get a truck that can’t handle the weight, for example!
